We had a field trip today-to the Coca-Cola factory. I was really lookinf forward to it since I though i was going to get free coke(and i also brought a pack of mentos-just for kicks). Also, the machines would be fun to see. Still, you can never know what's gonna happen-or what hasn't happened for this matter. What hasn't happened is that THE ELECTRICITY HAS IN NO WAY TOUCHED THE AREA OF STA. ROSA, LAGUNA YET. I hate milenyo...
This little complication gave way to two things: One, The factory way closed so we couldn't see the machines. They only showed some presentation with a really bad powerpoint machine thingy. The screen looked like it was made up of thirty pixels-and the pixels were like sticks put side-to-side in one row. Also, the pixels were 35x1 inches-35 inches high and 1 inch wide. Two, WE DIDN"T GET FREE COKE! I can't express my anger enough about this matter-kiddin'
.
The field trip wasn't all bad though. Since we found out we wouldn't go around the factory anymore, we decided to take a stop. It was in shell in the SLEX. We resorted to a cheap place to sit down and eat and talk since we were about an hour early. The place's name was Starbucks. I know, it was really cheap. I mean, where alse can you get a De-caf mocha frappucinno for 145 pesos. That is REALLY cheap.
I however, resorted to a more expensive retaurant. I got a bag of Lays at some convenience store and went to starbucks to hang out. There were also other shops and restaurants. Some batchmates of mine ordered a bucket of chicken at KFC. They ate under the sun at the parking lot. They wanted to make sure that the didn't get left behind by the bus.
Still, like all field trips, the best part is always the bus ride. Yes, all we did was talk but it was fun nonetheless.
I love pisay
